Okay, so this is not a "real" strider bike, but it's a much less expensive version. Not familiar with Strider? I will tell you about it. It's a bike designed for wee small ones to learn to ride just 2 wheels early on in life. It has no pedals, and no training wheels. It teaches the child to coast and balance with their feet. Well Aaron had seen one of these bikes months ago on You Tube, and got it in his head that Brighton HAD to have one. Last weekend Aaron's parents were in town from St. George, and Aaron's dream for Brighton came true, they bought Brighton his first bike. It's too cute! I wasn't sure about all of the colors... but Aaron convinced me that it was fine, and that it's supposed to be colorful, it's for a child! So I stand corrected... colors are good. :) Well, we picked the bike up today from the Walmart at the Site to Store counter. We brought it home and Brighton couldn't hold in his excitement one bit, and neither could Aaron. Once Aaron got it put together, Brighton couldn't have got on it any faster. He amazingly picked it up right off the ground and swung his leg over. He knows exactly what to do. Sadly, he's just about an inch too short for it. :( He can't quite do it yet. Brighton was so upset that he couldn't get it to work by himself, and we couldn't get him off the dang thing. We sadly had to put it away for a while because it seemed to be causing Brighton too much distress with it sitting there look at him, poor little guy. We'll bring it back out in about a month or so... until then, here are some pictures.

Dreamin' in the Trees
We just moved & couldn't be happier! We found a basement apt in North Orem & it's just awesome! The couple that owns it has 2 little boys ages 4 & 2 & they have another little one on the way. The apartment seems huge to us & has enough space for all of our things which is amazing. The backyard is perfect, it boasts a great sand box, garden, and a huge tree which has a blissful swinging hammock. Brighton loves this thing & fell asleep in it today while I was inside unpacking. Talk about one of the sweetest things I've ever seen! I just love him so much.

Baby Charlie
My brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Michael & Emi just had their 3rd son, Charlie. He's such a little angel, and I had the privilege of taking his newborn pictures. Originally I was to take them at the Hospital, but Charlie had some fluid in his lungs when he was born, and had to be in the ICU for a couple days. He's perfectly fine now. So we regrouped & I took the pictures in their home. I really like the way they turned out, they just look super natural and easy, which I love. I've put all of them on Facebook under my fan page, Apple Blossom Photography(Utah). Go ahead and take a look, let me know what you think! And please, if you haven't already, "like" my fan page. Loves!

Love & Marriage
A few weeks ago my cousin, Tyler, married a wonderful gal named Marlee. I just love them so much, and I had such an amazing time at their wedding in sunny St. George. This wedding was so beautiful, and so detailed. I loved everything about it, even the hot sun beating down on me all day! The umbrellas helped at their ring ceremony on the stunning Entrada Golf Course and at the dinner held at the club house on the green. My pictures do not do this event justice.
The flowers were to die for! I love how they tied cotton in. So cute!
My cute grandparents who live in good ole Farmington, New Mexico.
Brighton was very busy during the reception, he loved the waterfall and the little pond which of course was very nerve racking for me, good thing Daddy was there to keep a good eye on him while I was being snap happy.
The parents of the Groom. My awesome Uncle Sam & Aunt Tammy. Love them!
My Mommy, so cute!
Yours truly, a very tired Daddy, and a baby who wants DOWN.
Dessert spread at the reception, pretty amazing.
As we were leaving the reception, Aaron was carrying out one of the darling parasol umbrellas for me, he thought I could use it as a prop with my photography, so sweet. Well the wedding planner started yelling at him from across the way, and finally made it over to him all out of breath and told him the umbrellas were NOT wedding favors, and were not to be taken home. Oops! We felt dumb, we'd seen a few others go home with the umbrellas, but I guess this was a no no. Kinda funny. This was such a FUN weekend! Thanks Ty & Marlee for such a great party!

Love Her...
I did this shoot of my cousin Sage this past Friday. She's turning 4 years old, and she is a doll. She was cracking me and my Aunt Diana(the Mom) up the entire shoot, she was a great little poser, she had LOTS of moves. I love the way they turned out. I also have a facebook page, if you "like" my page, you can receive updates when I'm running deals & when I'm doing new shoots. Super fun, I KNOW! :) Here's the link!

Marlee & Tyler Sittin' In A Tree...
My Aunt Diana, Myself and my Mommy decided to throw my cousin Tyler's fiance Marlee a Bridal Shower. Whew that was a mouth full. We had so much fun planning this, I had so many ideas I wanted to implement. Not all of them got used, but I'm so happy with the outcome! It was a vintage feel and the theme was "Once Upon A Time". Everyone we invited had a different time of day they were assigned and they were asked to bring a gift that would go along with that time. It was such a fun shower, we ate good food, played some games, and had some good gossip not to be confused with bad gossip :), and we all got to know Marlee a little better! I love that girl, stinkin cute. Unfortunately we didn't have a very good turnout :(, but we had fun anyway! I'm way excited for Marlee to join our family, her and Ty are such a great fit! I can't wait to attend their wedding in two weeks in SUNNY St. George! Yahoo! We have big plans for that weekend and Sand Hollow may or may not be involved! Yay! I'm in need of a major break of just plain old life. Enjoy the pics!
Ok ok, so I realize this cake has been around A LOT lately on my blog... The two times I made it before, were really me prepping for this shower since we were doing a vintage theme. I knew it'd be perfect for it!

I knew it'd be perfect for it! The tree you see pictured what an "Advise Tree"... I love the way it turned out. All the guests wrote Marlee a little piece of advise about what she's about to get herself into, hehe!
Don't ya love the wood stumps?? I do! I had Aaron chop these up at my grandpa's house for Brighton's Vintage Cowboy birthday party in Feb. He did a bunch of them, and they looked so cute under all of the food. I'm giving myself a pat on the back right now for having him do them for me because I just love them so much!. :)
You will see a ton of my wood frames pictured with Ty & Marlee's engagements in them. I love these frames and I use them for every party I help with... Almost... I had my grandpa make lots of them for my wedding to display at the reception, and I still love them 5 years later. :)
This is Marlee's bouquet. I know it's sideways, I'm over it. She had just gotten back from St. George the night before the shower where she was having her and Ty's bridal and groomals shot. I KNOW they turned out amazing. And her bouquet is awesome, I love the cotton. I'd never seen that before and I'm in-love.
Mmmmm fruit with marshmallow cream dip! Delish!
Marlee wearing the AWESOME tiara I made her and 1:00 AM the night before. Haha.
The gals... this is a combo of Grammy's, Mothers, Daughters, Sisters, Aunts, Great Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, and ONE Boy(who is mine)! It took quite a few tries to get this picture, but we did it, sorta. I actually think there was a better one of all of us, but I'd already uploaded this and cropped it and such then I realized and I was too lazy to do all that to the better one so deal with it :).
