Philidelphia

Isn't he Cute???!!!

The Bell

Independence Hall behind us

Just some random dudes at the visitors center
Ok, so this was fun!! We saw the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and other cool things... then we ate cheesesteaks. YUM! Nothing like steak, onions, and cheese wiz on a bun! Ha! It sounds gross, and I was hesitant, but it was good! There are these two places, Geno's & Pat's. They are right across the street from one another and have been competing for years! We got a cheesesteak at each to decide who was best. I preferred Pat's, but Aaron liked Geno's... :)

Baltimore

Little Izabelle! She is so sweet and funny. She belongs to Krystal and Boone, our good friends out here. She's 16 months, but wears 12 months clothes and weight like 17 lbs. Teensie!

Brighton's favorite thing... his hand and fingers. YUM!

Me & Brighton at this Block Party thing, just waiting for our burger... which you will see behind me in the weird faced dude's hand. :) Ha!

Aaron likes S'mores... a lot. He's also quite handsome. :)

These are just some of our friends out here. This is us having a BBQ & Roasting mallow's.

What an interesting place this is... It's sticky and the locals are different... but we are having a really great time. Living here really makes me miss my home in Utah. We are out here because Aaron is working with AMP Alarm. He is working as a technician. He installs the security systems that the salesmen sell. Last week he was 3rd in the whole company for having the most installs in one week. He's really great at what he does, and everyone really loves him. He is actually trying to knock doors and sell some systems as well for some extra cash. I work part time in the office in the mornings. It's nice to get a break from my little man and to get out of the house. Aaron is usually gone all day long until the late hours of the night. He is usually home around midnight. I've made a lot of great friends here, all of their husbands are salesmen or techs. It's been really fun. It's nice to have people going through the same thing you are. We love going to dinner, walking to the 5 STORY MALL across the street (it's AMAZING), hanging out at the fire pit and letting the small ones roast marshmallows, and watching tv in the theater room. Our accomedations are very nice. We are very spoiled. There are under 10 of us, and there are around 24 children... WOW! It gets kinda crazy when we're all together.

Brighton 2 1/2 Months

Brighton is so much fun! We love him so much! He's still not doing a whole lot at this point... he had just started smiling, although, those are hard to catch on camera. He sure is cute though!!!

Brighton's Blessing

Brighton was blessed on April 10th. We blessed him at my Mom's house in Saratoga Springs. We loved having a private blessing with our closest family. We each have so much family, so we had to limit it to just immediate family, otherwise it would be just so huge!! It was a very special day for our little family.

Aaron's Builds

So Aaron is quite the craftsman. A couple of years ago he built me some benches for my Family Room (the Family Room I don't have...) and he just made these end tables and coffee table in his woods class at school. He used some old barn wood and fence wood he gathered at his Grandfather's house. Pretty cool if you ask me! The coffee table was made out of an old fence gate. Love it. The legs and outside of the tables are made from alder wood. Beautiful. I'm a proud wifey.

Gateway Mall

On April 8th, I went to Gateway Mall with my Mom and my little brother and sisters. It was so much fun! We went to Discovery Gateway, which is this little museum/play place for little kids. They loved it. It was a blast just to walk around the shops with my little family. I'd never done that with them before. I got some cute pic's of Brighton and the kids. The girls and Spencer had fun playing the the water fountain.

Newborn Pics!

In case you are wondering, we are doing great! I'm finally feeling pretty good, and ready to get out of the house! Brighton and I try to get out at least once a day, even if it's just to get a beverage. He's such a little angel, we just can't get enough. He struggles a little bit with his sleeping schedule. Actually, I guess he feels fine about his sleeping schedule, I'm the one that is struggling! Ha! He thinks the night is day and the day is night. He will sleep all day long, and then at night he'll be up for a couple hours at a time. I asked his pediatrician what I could do. He asked if when I was pregnant if Brighton was pretty active at night. Brighton was SO active at night, the party was just starting for him when I was going to sleep, fortunately I was able to sleep through him swirling around in my tummy. The Dr. said that since that was the case when he was in my belly, it's not going to change now that he is out... He said that I could try to correct his schedule, but it may be more work that it's worth. How depressing. My Mom has been great though! She will usually take Brighton in the morning for a couple hours so I can get some "good" sleep. I find it difficult to turn off my brain most of the time though, so it's never that great.

He's starting to chub up, which I love! He has a little double chin, and Aaron's favorite are his knees. They have little rolls on them. He thinks it's so awesome. Aaron also loves Brighton's sneezes, they are pretty funny. He'll do like 3-5 in a row! Then his arms will just reach out and get all frantic with every one, so cute. He is a very loved baby. Everyone is always wanting to hold him and love him in this household. My Mom thinks it's pretty funny, I'm like a sniffle/cough/sneeze nazi! If any of the kids have any of these symptoms, I make it very clear that they are to stay far far away. We also have hand sanitizer all over the house, so anytime one of the kids wants to hold him, I make them lather up their hands & arms.

We seem to be going through diapers like crazy! Aaron is freaking out, he's told me to try not to use so many, I just laugh at him. Brighton's favorite thing to do is fill a diaper full of pee, then I think to myself that there should be some poop to follow soon, so I'll wait a good while before changing his diaper. Once it's been a good stretch of time & he hasn't done #2, I'll take him to change his diaper. Well usually not even a minute after having a fresh clean diaper on, he'll have a major blow out... it's so frustrating, yet funny. It doesn't matter how long you wait for him to do his business, it's like he won't do it unless he has a clean diaper on.

Brighton changes so much everyday it seems like. He's getting so much bigger & he has such a funny personality. He's very stubborn, which doesn't surprise me too much, since both Aaron and I are very stubborn people. We just love him so much, and feel so blessed to have him in our lives!!
